CBRT: Residential property price index rose by 90.3 pct. annually

Residential property price index (RPPI), which measures quality-adjusted price changes of dwellings in Turkey increased by 90.3 percent annually at the end of August, according to the data released by The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).

In August, the residential property price index increased monthly by 5.5 percent, and recorded an annual increase of 90.3 percent in nominal terms and 21.9 percent in real terms.

In August, the RPPI increased monthly by 5.4, 5.2 and 5.5 percent in İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir, respectively. İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir recorded an annual increase of 78.4, 100.4 and 90.3 percent, respectively.
